Project Overview

SBFN is an international organization that measures the performance of countries in regard to ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance), based on its member surveys among central banks and financial associations. They had a few important problems with their current system: making survey data readable and accessible, and poor demonstration of the insights derived from the data.

Manual Processes:
This was less efficient due to the great deal of reliance on Excel spreadsheets and e-mail for the distribution of surveys and collection of data. User Engagement: A modern and user-friendly interface was required to properly engage with members and stakeholders.

Request:

SBFN required an end-to-end solution to improve readability and accessibility of survey data, provide better insights through enhanced data visualization, and improve the overall user experience with a modern and intuitive experience.

Our Solutions:
Phase 1: Requirements Gathering and Planning

Conducted comprehensive requirement gathering sessions with SBFN stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges. Defined scope, objectives, and success metrics for the project.

Created wireframes and mock-ups detailing a new platform.

Phase 2 : Member Survey Tool Development
Technology Stack:

Backend: Drupal 10, since it offers immense strengths in content management and inbuilt analytics.

Frontend: Drupal that provides a responsive and dynamic user interface.

API Integration: Custom-made APIs were designed for perfect communication along with data security.

Additional Tools: Power BI, for advanced data visualization and dashboard integration

Key Features:

Survey Management: A fully-fledged web-based tool for creating, distributing, and managing surveys. Features include question management, branching logic, and conditional questions.

Data Collection and Analysis: Constructed responsive questionnaire interfaces that allows easy data entry with real-time data validation. Implemented encryption for secure data storage.

User Management: Developed robust login management and user role facilities to guarantee secure access and integrity in data.

Reporting and Dashboards: Integration of Power BI dashboards, where users could get detailed insights with result visualizations in terms of the various surveys. The reports were downloadable, and analytics were viewed in real-time.

Phase 3: Testing and Quality Assurance

Extensive testing, including unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance testing to ensure the reliability and performance of the platform.

Automated testing tools were implemented for monitoring and weeding out continuous maintenance of the quality of the code.

Phase 4: Deployment and Training

Deployment of the new survey tool on the SBFN’s servers for this module ensured a smooth transition from the old system to the new platform.

Extensive training sessions regarding the management and operation of the new tool were provided to the SBFN staff so that they could manage and operate it effectively.

Project outcomes:

Data Management Efficiency: Interpreting survey data for readability and accessibility, the new tool showed a lot of improvement in deriving better insights and decision-making.

Improved User Experience: It gave a seamless, engaging experience to users with the new modern design, driven by UX/UI practices, thus increasing participation and satisfaction.

Renegotiated Processes: Survey distribution and data collection were automated, reducing manual workload and increasing efficiency.

Powerful Reporting: This Power BI integration allows for minute and beautiful dashboards and reports, enabling a better way of analyzing and presenting Data.

Scalable Solution: The solution was scalable; hence, it was very easy to add new surveys and increase data received by SBFN.

Results and Deliverables
